What about the first visit?
During signup, enter your details, company and trade. With a confirmed email address, open your workspace and begin your first task. The steps depend on your package and the details already provided. Open extra settings when you need them.

Your daily workflow with Rental
From reservation to checked return.
Check availability and agreements
The number seems enough, but preparation or another order uses the same stock.
Create unique items or a stock pool. Choose period, quantities, buffers, price version and terms reference.
Confirmation checks capacity. The order keeps the agreed price; payment received stays separate.
Hand out with checks
A colleague does not know which accessories or items the customer took with him.
Tick off the packing list and starting condition. Record the hand-out to the right customer with an evidence reference.
A verifiable hand-out and only the matching current next steps.
Inspect and release returns
A damaged or still missing item is rented out again.
Register a partial return, inspect the returned quantities and record damage or repair.
Returned stock is only released after inspection. Damage stays blocked until repair and test; a late return stays visible.

Unique items or a stock of identical pieces: confirming looks at what is really there, including preparation.
Handed out is recorded
Packing list and condition at departure are on the reservation. On return you know what has to come back.
Damage stays blocked
A broken item does not go out with the next customer by mistake.
Better for your customer too.
Items, quantity, period and price agreements are in the same record. Confirm precisely what is available and, on return, find what was handed out. A customer update follows the current order and the right recipient.
Your colleague can carry on.
Hand-out, partial return, inspection and repair are separate steps. Availability is not derived from the end date alone. You also see the work between bringing back and handing out again.

What the app does not do
No public booking site, no online payment and no accounting integration. You register deposit and payment yourself as an amount. So your customer does not yet reserve and pay online himself; he sends a request and you confirm.
