what slips through
The hidden cost. Not one big mistake.Just small things living apart. One panel brings it back together.
Bookings, invoices, customers and follow-up stop drifting between tools. They settle in one system, built around how you work.
pulling apart
≈ €2,000 a year
Retyping steals the hours
Booking in Lodgify, invoice in Moneybird, deposit in Excel, mailbox separate. Every week you copy data across — and with every change, something slips through. Around 50 hours a year disappears into retyping and checking.
Rental software like Lodgify or Smoobu works until your process differs: mixed inventory, your own terms, customers in NL and ES, or a Spanish VAT field that will not pass through. Then your business adapts to the software.
A double booking in peak season easily costs €300–500 in refunds, goodwill and reputation. Three a month is €1,000–1,500 gone. The cause is simple: the same availability lives in several places at once.
One fixed monthly price per panel, all included. Customer Portal €395/mo, Repair Panel €695/mo, Rental Panel €895/mo, Admin Panel €1,295/mo. Build + hosting + maintenance + ongoing development — all in one amount. No one-off project invoices, no annual contract, no debates about extra hours. See the details on /prijzen.
Why a subscription instead of separate quotes?
Per-change quotes push the risk onto you: every small wish becomes a conversation about money. On a subscription it's about what you need, not how many hours go in. If something takes longer than expected, that's my problem — not your invoice. You know up front what it costs and what's included.
Why a subscription afterwards, and not 'delivered, good luck'?
A project price gives me an incentive to ship fast and disappear. A subscription puts me on the hook to deliver again every month — maintenance, security updates, building on what you actually use. For you: lower entry cost, cancel any time (with data export), and software that keeps growing without you having to approve a quote for every change.
What's included in the monthly subscription?
Everything: build, premium hosting (NL/EU edge), monitoring, daily backups, security updates, maintenance and ongoing development. One fixed monthly price depending on the panel (from €395/mo), no extra invoices. New features come in under the subscription — no quotes per change.
What if I want to upgrade or downgrade mid-way?
Any time. Upgrade kicks in from the next invoice, downgrade from the month after. No drama, no 'we'll schedule it next quarter'.
What if I want to cancel?
Fine, monthly, no reason needed. For custom builds there's a minimum term equal to the build period (fair enough — I need to finish it). After that, monthly again. Your code and data stay yours, also after you leave.
What if I don't need anything at all for a month?
Then your system keeps running and you only pay for hosting + standby. I don't roll over unused hours (would be an incentive to 'just squeeze something in' before month-end). Want to pause for real? Ask — we'll figure something out.
What if something happens to you? My business will run on your panel.
Fair question for a one-person studio. What I do about it: all code lives in your GitHub organisation (not mine), your hosting runs on a Vercel account that can be transferred to you, and the stack (Next.js + Postgres) is something any experienced developer can pick up. For longer absences: I have arrangements with a fellow Dutch developer who can step in as a fallback — an agreement I'd rather not detail, but it's in place. Without me you're free, not 'starting over'.
